Food was nice but quite expensive compared to similar places on the island.
traditional local place and food, live music at dinner
They sever decent Okinawa local dishes, good environment and experience
Okinawan restaurant. If you can afford it, go to a pub.If you want to enjoy the atmosphere of the store, it's probably here. The price is sloppy, but I'm convinced. We used this year, but I guess the young byte and byte are working hard.An unknown bird comes to play.
Nice food
Excellent food (the fu-champuru was particularly nice) plus live music at dinner!
Great food, awesome atmosphere and perfect service - we just loved it! Try the shrimps and the Tuna sashimi!
Have eaten lunch and dinner here, quality is quite good, must try fish, squid ink rice and the tofu cheese dessert.
nice food
During the high season need a reservation. Ladies working there are very nice. Good service.
Excellent Food, nice atmosphere and live music made us the perfect evening.
Local food with Japanese music, a good experience
A must-go restaurant if you’re up to local cuisine
nice seafood , can take away
Nice food, nice music, nice atmosphere!Everyone can join dancing.
Great food. Reservations recommended but maybe not essential—we got a table for three on a rainy Thursday night and I made a fool of myself dancing to shamisen with my three year old.
Great food, service, music and dance show. Highly recommend!!!!
I'm a big fan of the ingredients and lots of champuru soups to eat at a funeral cafe.First, sip a delicious soup full of extract, simmer crisp shrimp, simmered vegetables and savor the texture of jellyfish.Happiness spreads out.Enjoy the change of taste by adding korean goose, pipech and spice pepper gradually. It is a gem with a perfect score (* ^ ^ *)If you are renting a car, it is convenient to park at the first parking lot on the leftmost side from the remote island terminal area. Even if it just passes, there are two more parking lots on the left side! From the direction of the Tojin Tomb, go to the third parking lot while looking to the right. After you're full, take a stroll along the large gardens and beaches to further satisfaction.I visited for the first time in a few years, but I was surprised that there were many cafe menus.I visited this time after 14:00, but I was very satisfied that I was able to have sashimi with sashimi.
Used for dinner. It was OK with the order on the day, so I reserved only the seats in advance. We ordered kaiseki cuisine, but it is a menu that mainly focuses on local cuisine. It is a good place to relax and feel Ishigaki Island. You can also order from the single item menu. There is no big dish that is gutsy, but they are all delicious, with tatami seats and table seats, which are also recommended for the elderly. From 18:30, Sanshin and folk song dance will be held, which will be a good memory. You don't have to dance with them, but dance lovers will be more excited. I enjoyed the atmosphere only because I was music.
Another world here!It seems that they are dancing in the central square. The food was good but the atmosphere of this shop was great. If time allows (and the shop staff allows it), you can spend half a day.
Funakura-no-Sato is a big complex traditional Japanese restaurant.(8 old wooden houses and garden)For lunch time dishes are served at Chabo Building “Boat Station†Menu offer lot of choice of meals at affordable price.Food is delicious.Diner time; Japanese Folk Songs performance at 6:30pm, 7:30pm and 8:30pm every day.
Very nice food and beautiful place!
A must try when you are in Ishigaki: family owned, 100 years old house transformed in restaurant with real local souther food. We tried scorpion fish, mangrove crab, ishigaki beef and more. Everything was delicious with great staff at moderate price.
Found this place up the road from where we were staying. Lively place with lots of families, with music and a participatory dance lesson that started immediately after we got in. Food was a great sampling of Okinawan cuisine.
We had nice lunch. Inside is cozy and staffs are kind. Next to the restaurant, they also have a cafe and a little shop, which is a plus. If you are in the neighborhood, worth trying.
I went for the first time in 2 or 3 years and I was pleasantly surprised by the taste and price. Will go again.
Nicely served local cuisine! Peaceful environment
Better make booking before hand other wise is hard to walk in. We had the meal set with lobster and i loved it but the deep fried fish is a bit too hard to chew on and the whole meal is really full. And they have music show after 7:30pm.
Great Japanese food with reasonable price. Very nice environment. I was only having lunch here. Would be more nice at dinner I guess.
Delicious
I arrived at the store just before the store opened, but the staff passed me through and introduced me to the scenery of Taketomi Island. The food is also delicious, and above all, it is a calm place where you can eat slowly and enjoyably.Chlorella of limited menu is exquisite and is good for allergists because it does not use buckwheat flour.
Good food, good music! Love it!
It is an excellent address. Built in a renovated traditional farmhouse, the kitchen as much as the place will make you spend an authentic moment and an unforgettable experience. Remember to book because the success of this establishment is up to expectations. For the quality, the price is really a good surprise as it is reasonable. To do if you are passing through Ishigakishima
A tourist restaurant Food is good but we are excepting more traditional ishigaki cuisine
Very good traditional Japanese restaurant with music performance
Delicious food. Good Services.
Nice dinner
We had a wonderful ishigaki meal, the environment is full of Okinawan style. Don't miss the traditional Okinawan dance and music after 19:00.As for the food, the set dinner geeto is Okinawan village set, you can enjoy the traditional culture through your tongue. The ishigaki steak on ceramic plate barbecue is super yummy!
Food, service, and ambience, this restaurant excels in all aspect. If you want a very refined ishigaki style dish, this is the place to be. My favourite were combination sashimi, grilled pork, raw beef sushi and squid ink garlic rice. When I write them in English the dish sound very lame but it taste much better than it sounds. They also have local river crab. It’s no match with deep sea crab in Hokkaido but they are still good.
The setting is great, the service was good and the food as delicious. A must have dish would be their soup noodles with braised pork and their bitter melon.
Okinawan restaurant using an old private house. The site was large, and there were various buildings on the site. In addition to the restaurant, a cafe and a souvenir shop were also added, giving a relaxed atmosphere. During the meal, traditional dances and songs of the island are performed, and customers can participate in the dance. At night, many geckos gather in the light under the eaves and feel the rich nature of the stone wall. In addition to the standard Okinawan cuisine, we could enjoy Umuzuna Chanpuru (champles with octopus) and Duruten.
Traditional Japanese complex with many wooden houses, and so the restaurant is spread across. Beautiful interior. The waitresses are really kind Too. I had the unagi box, abit pricey but it tasted execellent. Factoring in tourist pricing, the premium you’re paying could be understood I suppose.
Marvellous traditional food
Restaurant for tourists. The atmosphere of the building is good, and the interior has plenty of stone walls.Relaxing room and table seatsRegular Shimauta LiveI ’m just not sloppyThe unique Okinawa izakaya does not have the noisy feelingIs goodIt is a price of about 8000 yen for two people to eat.Dinner for sightseeingSuch a thing
It was a plan without dinner at the hotel, so I went to a nearby Coco.Okinawan food is delicious! Among them, black fried rice? What I like was very delicious!I will go again!
The food is traditional and atmosphere is nice.
